Joann Maynard of Coal Grove, Ohio went home to be with Jesus peacefully in her sleep on April 21, 2020 at the age of 69. She was the matriarch of the family, full-time loving wife, and mother of seven children. She is survived by John Maynard, her husband of 53 years, as well as her seven children; Shirley Combs (Clint), Johnny Maynard (Natasha), Irene Stapleton (Logan), Danyell Boothe (Shawn), Carl Maynard, Crystal Donley (Kevin), Joshua Maynard (Fatina), John’s daughter Susie Willis, 30 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents Carl L. & Louise Kelley and survived by her siblings; Jim Kelley (Kathy), Carl Kelley Jr., Gwendolyn Ghee (Tom), & Lena Kelley. Joann was the sweetest, kindest, most unselfish, beautiful woman inside and out. Oh, how we will miss our wife, mother, sister, aunt, and Granny. A graveside service will be held 3 p.m. Friday April 24, 2020 at Haverhill Cemetery, Franklin Furnace, Ohio. Private visitation will be held at Schneider-Hall Funeral Home Chesapeake, Ohio.
