Obituary Joan Morefield, 88 of Saybrook Township died Monday (April 13th) at the Ashtabula County Medical Center. She was born May 16, 1931 in Hazel, Virginia. She had worked at Rockwell Plastics and Pickens Plastics until her retirement. She w is a member of the Ashtabula First Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed gardening, embroidering and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving her is her daughter, Gail (Bill) Dombrowski of Hartgrove, three grandchildren, Carrie (Michael) Dillon, Mark Dombrowski and Paul Dombrowski; three great grandchildren, Michael, Starr and Joslyn; a brother, Thomas Sutherland of Jefferson and three sisters, Ellen Anderson of Troutville, Virginia, Joyce Kenderick of Butler, Georgia and Carol Lipps of Jefferson, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James P. Morefield in 1975 and by two sisters, Corenia Brummitt and Leota Hall. Graveside services will be Friday (April 17th) at 12:00 Noon at Ridgeview Cemetery in Ashtabula Township with Pastor Sean Hampton officiating. Memorial contributions in her memory can be made to the Ashtabula First Church of the Nazarene, 1820 South Ridge Rd. West Ashtabula, Ohio 44004.
