Obituary Greensboro, NC – Jerry Wayne Lee passed away suddenly of the CoronaVirus on April 19, 2020.Jerry was born November 30, 1953 in Greensboro, NC. Jerry was the only child of Lloyd Winfred Lee and Hazel Baker Lee who preceded him. Jerry attended Northeast High School in McLeansville, NC. He was a member of Moriah United Methodist Church. He was a former employee of the City of Greensboro. He retired after 20+ years. His favorite pastime was fishing, fishing & more fishing. When he wasn’t fishing, he enjoyed watching old western shows, NASCAR and drag racing, and football (Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs and Minnesota Vikings). He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Kay Amick Lee, as well as sons, Andrew Eugene Lee and Charles Henry Lee. He is also survived by his precious granddaughter, Tori (“Queen”) Lee and numerous cousins, loved ones and friends, far too many to list. Triad Cremations & Funeral Service is assisting the family. The family will announce a celebration of life memorial service for Jerry at a future date.
