Jerry E. Watring, 85, of Enon passed away Monday, April 27, 2020 in his home surrounded by his family. He was born October 9, 1934 in Chico, California to the late Alfred M. and Berneice B. (Parker) Wotring. Jerry was a Cold War Civil Servant Warrior. He loved hunting, fishing, enjoying a cold one on the lanai and most of all, family. Jerry is survived by his two sons; Jerry “Mike” Watring of Enon, Korby and Tina of Medway, a sister, Betty, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a wife, Mary Jo Watring, and a son, Wesley Parker Watring. A private funeral service will be held 1:00 Friday, May 1, 2020 in Adkins Funeral Home, Enon. The service will be streamed live on Facebook Live on the Adkins Funeral Home Facebook page.
