Janet was born in Evansville, Indiana to Kenneth Hugh and Minnie Catherine (Mount) Johnson on January 27, 1945. She graduated from George Washington High School in 1963. Janet was a loving Homemaker for many years. She was an avid Christian and member of Chapel Rock Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband David E McNabb, and son David Timothy (Tim) McNabb. Janet is survived by husband Alfred Tate; children, Kevin (Kayla) McNabb and Kelly (John) Lagle; sisters Renee (Denny) Scott and Melissa (Cliff) Curl; grandchildren; Allison (Pete) Williams, Jacob McNabb, Morgan McNabb, Zacary Lagle, Derek Lagle, Jessica Lagle and David Blake Lagle; and great grandchild Liam.
