Obituary Mrs. Janelle Adamson Davis, 84, of Valley, AL passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at EAMC Lanier. A memorial service at Fairfax Cemetery will be announced at a later date by the family. Mrs. Davis is survived by her children, Paula Maddux (Barry) & Gary Davis (Jackie); two sisters, Ruby Hull & Peggy Caldwell; two brothers, Larry Adamson & Fletcher Folks; five grandchildren, Megan Hall (Mark), Cody Davis (Tanya), Kristen Houston (Edwin), Eric Yates (Kendall), & Christy Yates; 10 great-grandchildren, Camryn, Kyndall, & Tucker Davis; Jayda Finch; Kaydence, Kayden, Mekayla, & Makenzie Houston; and Dixon & Rylie Yates. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Weyman Davis. Mrs. Davis was born in Langdale, AL on March 1, 1936. She was a graduate of Valley High School. She was a former resident of North Miami Beach, FL and moved back to Lanett, AL in 1976 where she and her husband opened Courtesy Variety 5 & 10 Store, and she later worked at Hengstler’s Jewelry Store in West Point, GA.
