James’ Obituary James “Jim” Richard Davern, age 77, of Shawano, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2020. Jim was born on October 27, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois, to the late William and Bernice (Klocker) Davern. Jim proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a fan of the Chicago Cubs and he enjoyed traveling, boating and playing cards in his free time. Jim loved his dogs and his family dearly and he was very proud of his two grandsons. Jim is survived by: his children, Cherie (Kevin) Zogleman of Pittsville and Richard Davern of Boca Raton; his grandsons, Timothy Zogleman of Quantico, VA and Joshua Zogleman of Madison, WI; as well as his former wife, Lynda Doty. He is further survived by other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. In accordance with Jim’s wishes, no public services will be held, he asks everyone to visit loved ones while they are alive. Read More
