Obituary Infant baby Jackson Dean, son of Eric and Alycia McLamb Thornton, of Newton Grove, was born sleeping on Tuesday, April 21, 2020, at WakeMed North, Raleigh, N.C. He was a beautiful baby weighing 5lbs .6oz and was 18.5 inches long. Jackson brought so much joy to his parents and family throughout the pregnancy and when he arrived. Surviving are his parents; his maternal grandparents, Paul ‘Phil’ and Carol McLamb, of Clinton, his paternal grandmother, Connie Thornton, of Newton Grove; his uncle, Matthew Thornton, of Newton Grove, loving great-grandparents and a number of cousins, relatives and family friends. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials can be made in memory of Jackson Dean Thornton to a non-profit charity of your choosing. Another way to honor Jackson’s memory is to provide an act of kindness in your community.
