IRENE’s Obituary Irene Page, 85 of Salem, WI passed away Friday, April 10, 2020. She was born September 3, 1934 to the late Theophiel and Angele (nee Baetsle) Van Halter in Chicago, IL. Irene loved being at her cabin up north, adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and birdwatching. In addition, she loved cooking, watching the Food Channel and reading. Irene enjoyed traveling – especially to Europe and around the United States. Irene’s most favorite title was being a mother and grandmother. Survivors include her children, Debbie (Doug) Feld, Rob (Kim) Page, and Jeff (Jill) Page; grandchildren, Adam, Ross, Scot, Danielle, Alex, Alyse, and Marcus; great-grandchildren, Hanna, Evelynne, Nora, and Cruz; sister, Mariette Charvat; and many friends that loved her dearly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert and son, Donald. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic and CDC guidelines, a memorial service will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH, 1055 Main St. Antioch, IL 60002.
