Obituary Ida M. Peroutek, 86, of Esbon, Kansas died Friday, April 24, 2020 at the Salina Regional Health Center in Salina, Kansas. Visitation will be held Monday and Tuesday, 8:00 am – 8:00 pm at the Williams Funeral Home in Red Cloud. A private family rosary will be recited Monday evening at 7:00 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Esbon. Memorials are suggested to the Esbon Sacred Heart Church, the St. Elizabeth Cemetery or for masses. We are implementing the Centers of Disease Control (CDC) recommendation of only allowing 10 people at a gathering at any time. This includes funeral services, gravesides and all visitations. The CDC recommends that all in-person public gatherings of more than 10 people be postpone or cancelled for the next several weeks. While we acknowledge the importance for public gatherings to honor the lives of loved ones, the CDC believes control of such public gatherings is one of the most significant resources that may slow the spread and impact of this pandemic.
