Loved By All Gladys Stepp Frizzell, 86, of Franklin passed away peacefully on April 17, 2020 at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Nellie Stepp; her husband, C.J. Frizzell; sister, Doris Warren; brothers, Kenneth, William Carl(Geneva), Burgin (Blanche), General, and Lewis Stepp; sister-in-law Louise Stepp; grandson, Hezekiah Alsdorf; and great grandson, Robert Jarosiewicz. Gladys is survived by sons, Jerry (Darlene) Frizzell of Franklin and Jackie Frizzell of Rutherfordton; two sisters, Gleneva Warren of Canton and Virginia Seay of Rutherford County; one brother, Douglas Stepp of Lexington; sister-in-laws, Margie and Shirley Stepp; six grandchildren, Karla, Regina, Crystal, Jerry, Christina, and Lacey; seven great grandchildren, Alysia Marie Roberts, Mason Lee McGill, Adrianna Palnk, Jeremy Burgess, Durhame, Anthony, and Karissa Frizzell; one great great grandson; along with numerous nieces and nephews. She worked many years as a Home Health Aide and also as a homemaker. Gladys love to cook and clean above anything else. She enjoyed gardening, shopping, and watching the Grand Ole Opry and Hee Haw. Gladys was known to make some of the best biscuits and fried chicken around. She loved her country and her President. Gladys was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Due to the current health situation, No Formal Services are planned at this time. A Celebration of Gladys’ Life will be held at a later date.
