Obituary George H. Boles, Jr., former resident of Montgomery, AL and Niceville, FL passed away in his home on March 18, 2020 at the age of 71. Born June 6, 1948 in Montgomery, Alabama, George knew no strangers. His vibrant, outgoing personality instantly made him a friend to everyone he met. George enjoyed a long career of construction equipment sales and rentals, and later was blessed with the opportunity to serve on staff at the Niceville Crosspoint Church campus. In his free time, you would find George either on the golf course in Bluewater Bay or at home watching his collection of old western movies, all while fully supporting the Alabama Crimson Tide. He is preceded in death by his father, George H. Boles, Sr., his mother, Lorene Mitchell Boles, and his wife of 44 years, Barbara Brown Boles. He is survived by his sisters Carla Liles (Sid) and Carol Boles, his children Brian Boles (Emily) and Whitney Farmer, and his 3 grandchildren, Eley, Jake, and Rollins. Due to current restrictions, a memorial service will be held for George at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to The Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.
