Obituary Frances Eskew Whitfield, 81, devoted wife of 54 years, to the late John M. Whitfield, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 19, 2020. Born in Greenville, SC, she was a daughter of the late William A. and Maude Holcombe Eskew. Frances attended Wrenn Memorial Baptist Church. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and friend. She loved bowling, traveling, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her precious daughter, Donna Smith and husband, Joe of Greenville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her seven brothers and three sisters. A Graveside Service will be Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at 11:00 am at Graceland West Cemetery.
