Fern’s Obituary Mrs. Fern Trent Evans departed this life on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at her residence at the age of 82. She was the widow of Wendell Evans. On August 6, 1937, Fern was born in Rosslyn, KY to the late Everett and Flossie Scott Trent. She later married Wendell Evans on August 9, 1958. From this union was born three sons, John M. (Christie) Evans of Owenton, KY, Phillip W. Evans of Williamstown, KY, Carson L. Evans of Williamstown, KY, and one daughter, Valerie A. McNeal of Grove City, OH. In addition to her children, she is survived by two brothers Herbert (Ruth Ann) Trent of Stanton, KY, Forrest (Janice) Trent of Stanton, KY, five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Fern was a homemaker all her life. She loved to sew, quilt, read books, vegetable gardening, canning and fishing. She was notably remembered for having the best homemade apple pies. She was a member of the God’s Community Church in Williamstown. Graveside services will be held at the Williamstown Cemetery at 2pm on Monday, May 4, 2020.
