Ezra George September 05, 1942 – April 05, 2020 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook Ezra George 77, of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, passed away on Monday, April 5th, 2020 losing his battle with Prostate Cancer. Ezra was born in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands on September 5th, 1942 to proud parents, father, Emanuel George, and mother, Lena Simmonds. He attended Charlotte Amalie High School where he received his diploma. Shortly after he made his way to New York where he started a job in Filming for New York Life Magazine. Ezra was always known for having a permanent scowl on his face, which made him look rather unapproachable. But those that knew him, knew that he was a kind and gentle soul. He was a Great Man and an Awesome Father! Ezra is survived by: siblings, Janet Davis, Judith George, Arlene Jones, Ashley George, Alyce George, Michael George, Liston George, and Judy George; his children, Kevin George, Ezra George, Troy George, Danequa George, Dezra George, Michael George, and Tiasha George; and a host of grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by: siblings, Doris Stephens, Esther George, Elridge King, Olive McClean, Leona George, Albert George, Arthur George, Alford and Alvin George.
