Evilia M. “Billie” Stone, age 83, passed away early morning Saturday, April 25, 2020. She was born on November 19, 1936 to Benito and Alicia (Reyes) Muniz in Three Rivers, TX. Billie was married to James F. Stone until his death on October 23, 1981. She worked at Muskegon Paper Box, Michigan Spring and American Coil Spring until her retirement. Billie enjoyed cooking, especially making her delicious Mexican dishes for family and friends. She had a beautiful smile and vivacious personality that would turn any frown into a smile. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed. She is survived by her 4 children, Rusty (Cindy) Stone, Norma (Scott) McEwen, Scott Stone, and Lisa Stone; 7 grandchildren, Samantha McCrea, Lee (Mia) McEwen, Lauren (Mike) Mooney, Tyler (Brittany) Stone, Stacey Lewis, Marisa Wohlfard, and Mick Wohlfard; 8 great-grandchildren, Cooper McCrea, twins Georgia and Camden McCrea, Eva June Lewis, twins Elliette and Parker Stone, Aila McEwen, and two more on the way in July. She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, sister, and granddaughter, Jessica Stone. Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, a celebration of Billie’s life will be announced and held at a later date.
