Dorothy’s Obituary Dorothy Lynette (Arruda) Cabral, passed away Friday, March 13, 2020 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Gilbert Cabral and the former wife of William J. Almeida. Dorothy was born in Fall River, daughter of the late Frank and Constantina (Braga) Arruda. She was a waitress at Venus de Milo and also worked at Star Pickle. She lived with her daughter Brenda and cared for her three children Brittany, Adam and Joshua. Dorothy enjoyed bingo, playing cards, puzzles and coloring. Dorothy is survived by five children, William J. Almeida, Thomas Almeida, James Almeida Daniel Almeida and Brenda Almeida all of Fall River, two sisters Mary Souza of Swansea and Constance Francoeur of Fall River, fourteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She also was the mother of the late Robert, David, Michael and Deborah Almeida and sister to the late Hilda Luzitano and Lorraine Botelho. Before cremation, Dorothy’s funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 10:00AM in the BOULE FUNERAL HOME, 615 Broadway, Fall River, MA.
