Obituary Donald J. Miller, 88, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2020, at Summit Health and Living. Donald was born on August 25, 1931, to the late John and Sylvia Miller. He married Wanda Canny in 1951, and she survives. Donald was a Shriner, a Mason, and a former little league baseball coach and umpire. He also was a wrestler and won events in several weight classes. An avid bowler, he played on a traveling seniors team and went to the nationals in Syracuse, New York. His greatest bowling achievement was bowling a perfect 300 game. Above all, Donald was a great father and husband. He will fondly be remembered for all the wonderful times his family had with him. Donald is survived by his wife, Wanda; two daughters, Loudene Scott, Summitville, and Penny (Charles) Johnson, Lapel; son, John (Susan) Miller, Fairmount; three grandchildren, Joe Rodriguez, Katie Earnest, and Andy (Lauren) Miller; and two great-grandchildren. Arrangements for Donald have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services. In accordance with his wishes, Donald will be cremated.
