Donald’s Obituary Donald H. Pahlow, age 73, of Shawano, passed away at home on Monday, March 30, 2020 with his loving wife by his side. Donald was born in Shawano, on January 10, 1947, to the late Hugo and Lucille (Redmann) Pahlow. He attended St. James Lutheran Grade School and Shawano High School for three years before his family moved to Menomonee Falls, where he graduated from Menomonee Falls High School in 1965. Donald served in the United States Army in Vietnam during the Vietnam Conflict from 1965 until his honorable discharge in 1968. On October 19, 1969, Donald was united in marriage to Judy Staub, at the Assembly of God Church in Shawano. The couple raised their family in Sus and Don worked for Sawall Masonry in Menomonee Falls until his retirement 15 years ago. Following retirement he and Judy returned to the Shawano area. In his free time Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, gardening, growing flowers, and going to the casino. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. Donald is survived by: his beloved wife, Judy; children, Michael (Barbara) Pahlow of Round Lake, Illinois and Paul Pahlow of Sus; granddaughters, Amanda and Megan Pahlow; nine siblings, Cheryl (Dennis) Timm of Green Bay, Richard (Sue) Pahlow of Shawano, Lee (Gary) Johnson of Texas, James Pahlow of Shawano, Bonnie Stahli of Menomonee Falls, Ervin (Sherry) Wegner of Neenah, Randy Wegner of Shawano, Carmen (Roger) Van Haitsma of Zeeland, MI and Debbie (Dave) Miller of Suamico; brothers-in-law, David (Karen) Staub of Green Bay, Randy (Rita) Staub of Iron River, MI and Jeff (Sherry) Staub of Oshkosh. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by: his parents, and one sister, Karen Long. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, private family services will be held. Burial will be in Lake Drive Cemetery in the Town of Wescott. Read More
