Obituary Salley – Mr. Don Edward Bolin, 65, entered into rest on Tuesday, April 21, 2020. He is the son of the late John Curtis Bolin and the late Margaret Louise Poole Bolin. Don is the brother of John Wayne Bolin and his wife Debra, Mary E. Bolin and her husband Charles “Bubba”, Louise Bolin, and Bobby Dean Bolin. He is the uncle of Andy Bolin, Renee Hooker and her husband Al, Wesley Bolin, Charles Robert “Bo Dilly” Bolin, and Ben “Ski Bo” Jeffcoat. He is the great uncle of Wyatt Bolin, Waylon Bolin, Clayton Hooker, Kylee Hooker, and Annelia Bolin. Don loved coming home for visits. He would wait by the window and say, “Come on Mary, she’ll be here in a minute”. He would not move till she got there. Then he would say, “Get my bag!”. He loved children and gave them kisses. Don was greatly loved and will be missed. The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to Babcock Center and Hartley House. A graveside service will be held Friday, April 24th at 11:00 am at Salley Oakview Cemetery with Rev. John O’Cain ministering.
