He was born on August 19, 1944, to the late William Roger Powers and Leona Minnie Mascheck. Dennis enlisted in the Air force in August of 1973 and was a 2nd class Airman. He lived in the Rockport area where he enjoyed fishing and the beach. He also loved books, and even had a closet full of them. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends. Dennis is survived by brother, Leon Paul Powers; sister in law, Mihoko Powers; nephews, Kenji Paul Powers, and Rayji Leon Powers (Laura); great nieces, Audrey, Amelie, and Esme Powers; and numerous cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Roger Allen Powers, and Mark William Powers. Service will be held at a later date. SERVICES Graveside Service Print Obituary
