Obituary Denise Phillips Teal, age 62 of Carrollton, passed away Friday, April 17, 2020. She was born September 25, 1957 in Carroll County, daughter to J.W. Phillips and Wanda Faye Phillips. She attended West Georgia Technical College and was co-owner of Beauty Village. She is preceded in death by a son, Jason Clay Teal. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, George Teal of Carrollton; daughter and son-in-law, Jaana and Nathan Sheppard of Dallas, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Joshua and Krystle Teal of Roopville; three brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Robin Phillips, Donald and Pam Phillips and Terry Jay and Lisa Phillips all of Carrollton; and five grandchildren, Chloe Sheppard, Bryce Sheppard, and Carter Sheppard, Hayden Teal and Reagan Teal. Graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at 2:00 PM from Carroll Memory Gardens with Rev. Ronnie Nation officiating.
