Obituary As we say goodbye to our beloved Deatrice Danielle Greene, we reflect through tears, smiles and with a grateful heart for the years we shared her life. Affectionately known as “Dee”, she was born August 18, 1977 in Stanly County, North Carolina; and was the daughter of Joyce Greene Chambers and Patrick W. Davis. Although our loss of “Dee” at such a young age is difficult to understand, we are comforted in knowing she now rests in the Arms of Our Lord and Savior. She was educated in the Montgomery County public schools and graduated from West Montgomery High School, Class of 1995, Mt. Gilead, North Carolina. Prior to declining health, she was employed in childcare services. ‘‘Dee” was a member of Mt. Zion A.M.E. Zion Church, Mt. Gilead, under the pastorage of Reverend Ronald L. Goss. She was a beautiful and friendly young lady who had a warm radiant smile. “Dee” was a great conversationalist who enjoyed the company of others. Quite the diva, “Dee” looked her best and was fond of the color purple. She was an excellent hairstylist and esthetician. She also enjoyed taking pictures and listening to music. On Sunday morning, March 29, 2020, “Dee” was called to her eternal home. She joined her son, Tiriq Lamont Greene, who died July 4, 1998; maternal grandparents, Alice and James Greene; paternal grandparents, Velma and Raymond Davis; and uncles, James Greene and Robert Greene in a place that is beautiful and perfect in every way. “Dee’s” memory will remain in the hearts of her loving mother, Joyce G. Chambers, Albemarle, North Carolina; father, Patrick (Louvenia) Davis, Norwood, North Carolina; brother, Clifton Lamont Chambers, Albemarle, North Carolina; sisters: Nakisha Davis, Latrillian Davis, Patinesia Davis and Summer Davis; aunt, Deborah Martin, High Point, North Carolina; uncle, Robert Greene; great aunt, Gertrude Lilly, Albemarle; special cousins, James Williams, Nakeia Graham, Tamera Greene and Angela Greene; special friends, Lena Bellamy, Nedria Capel, Vivian Lewis and Lotina Robinson; many other relatives and dear friends.
