Obituary Dawn Marie Joiner, 57, of Burnsville, passed away Monday, April 13, 2020, at the Brian Center of Spruce Pine. A native of Michigan she was the daughter of the late Walter Lee and Marilyn Rose Dalton Boring. Surviving are her husband, David Joiner of Burnsville; children: Kelly and Jason Baker; stepson: Matthew Taylor and wife, Erika; sister: Christine Boring (Bob); brothers: Dane Boring, Kevin Boring and wife, Shawne, Clark Boring and wife, Amanda; special friend: Marquita Amodeo; and many nieces, nephews, a great niece and great nephew. A graveside service will be held at 2PM Thursday in the Tipton-Griffin Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 until 1PM prior to the service at Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home.
