David’s Obituary David William Lawler, 67, of Vidor passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2020 at his home. He was born on November 6, 1952 to his parents, Allie Gilbert Lawler and Edwina Hall Lawler in Big Spring, Texas. David was a resident of Vidor for the last 22 years. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. David retired as a helicopter mechanic with various companies in the area after 45 years. He was preceded in death by his parents. David is survived by his loving wife, Tami Jo Johnston Lawler of Vidor, his daughter, Cassie Jo Lawler Hudson and her husband, Aaron of Sulphur, LA., his son, Christopher Shanon Lawler of Vidor, three grandchildren, Kira Marie Hudson, Olivia Blake Hudson, Evan Michael Filipovic. He is also survived by his sister, Brenda Davidson and her husband, Ronnie of Mineral Wells, TX., his three brothers, Johnny Wayne Lawler and his wife, Sarah of Port Arthur, Andrew Bryant Boudreaux of Vidor, Dan Lawler and his wife, Sheena of Possum Kingdom, TX. along with several nieces and nephews. Due to the Coronavirus-19 and the limited number of people at a gathering, Private family visitation and graveside will be under the direction of Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Read More
