David’s Obituary David A. Ankrom, 70, of Vienna, passed away April 5, 2020, at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born November 13, 1949, in Wheeling, WV, the son of the late Charles Willard and Martha Lee (Owens) Ankrom. David graduated from Parkersburg High School in 1967 and was a graduate of West Virginia University in 1971. He was a social worker for the WV-DHHR and was an active member of the Vienna Baptist Church and the Vienna Civitan Club. He is survived by his wife Cheryl Middleton Ankrom; two children, Jane (Jim) Cirigliano of Parkersburg and Andrew Ankrom of Vienna; his father and mother-in-law, Charles and Jean Middleton; brother-in-law, Steve (Stephanie) Middleton of Vienna; and nephew, Jared (Jennifer) Middleton of San Antonio, TX. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Corrine Sue Tibbrine and her husband Dominick; and one infant brother. In keeping with David’s wishes, his body was donated to the West Virginia Human Gift Registry in Morgantown. His family will honor his memory by having a private family memorial. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Vienna Baptist Church, 3401 Grand Central Ave, Vienna, WV 26105.
