Obituary Mrs. Daphne L. Beech, 93, transitioned to her heavenly home on Monday, April 13, 2020 at WFBH High Point Medical Center. Daphne was born in Spanish Town, Jamaica on March 6, 1927 to Aaron and Ellen B. Nelson. She had been in High Point for over 46 years. She was a faithful member of Memorial United Methodist Church and was formerly employed as a finisher at Kaylyn Furniture Factory. Her most cherished position was that of a wife and mother. She took great pride in caring for her family by cooking a homemade meal for them every day. She also enjoyed crocheting and knitting. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first child, Judith Patricia Beech and all six of her siblings. Surviving relatives include her devoted husband of sixty-eight years, Alvin Beech; three sons, Donovan Beech, Alrick Beech (Sharon), and Raphael Beech; daughter, Grace Hale (Cedric); ten grandchildren, Mattea Harris (Bhrandon), Damine Hale, Brandon Beech, Alyssa Beech, Kenya D. Beech, Jonathan L. Beech, Alexis Hale, Malcolm I. Beech, Nathan W. Beech, and Grayson E. Beech; four great grandchildren, Audrey Harris, Maison, M’Kenzi, and Mekhi; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and beloved friends A Celebration of Life will be held at a private graveside service on Friday, April 17, 2020 at Guilford Memorial Park.
