Danny’s Obituary Danny J. Fiasco, age 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by family in his White Oak home April 22,2020. Danny was the beloved husband of Shirlene (Shirl, nee Cline) for 58 years. Loving father of Tina Vanderloop, Anthony (Tony) Fiasco, Rose Fiasco, and Rochelle (Ed) Sanders. Cherished Nonno of eleven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. Beloved brother of Rose Jean Carroll (Tom, deceased) (nee Fiasco). Danny was born June 1, 1942 in Cincinnati, OH to Guido and Emma Fiasco (nee Sciarra), now both deceased. Danny attended Central High School, was also a typical teen cruising around Corryville and Western Hills. Being a “shade tree mechanic”, he learned his future trade working on auto brakes. First employed by Burnett Pontiac and then Bob Meyers Auto Service. He then opened two Union 76 service stations, and finally opened West Side Brake Service. As that service industry changed Danny became employed with Superior Honda and worked until his retirement as an Assistant Service Advisor. After retiring, he chose to continue with Superior Honda as an Attendant in the Service Department. If he was not at work, Danny was at home working on cars, you could find him always helping friends or others in the neighborhood. He was a survivor of esophageal cancer but suffered lastly from lung cancer for which he succumbed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to OHC(Oncology Hematology Care), Hospice of Cincinnati, or charity of choice. Visitation and cemetery services will be private at this time while a planned Memorial Mass and Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Read More
