Dakon’s Obituary Dakon Scott Wallace, beloved son, brother, grandson, and nephew passed away peacefully in the arms of his parents on April 25, 2020. Dakon was born on April 5, 2020. During his short time on Earth, Dakon fought an incredible fight and was loved deeply by family and friends. Dakon is survived by his parents Justin and Sydney Wallace of Krum; his loving sister, Teagan Wallace; his Pops and Boonie (Billy and Sheila McCollum) of Krum, Papa Rhett and Grandma Beth (Rhett and Beth Wallace) of Krum, and Poppa and Gigi (Walter and Angie Collom) of New Vienna, Ohio; Great-grandparents Mimi and Poppie (DeRoyce and Kaye Bolton) of Ponder, Joe and Jackie Beall of Krum, and Grandpa and Grandma (Bill and Virginia Wallace) of Austin; Aunts and Uncles Shelby McCollum, Rachel and Andrew Maxwell, Baileigh Sweet, Dakota Collom, Jordan Collom, Kamryn Wallace, and Case Wallace, and many cousins, family and friends. Dakon is preceded in death by great-grandparents Bill and Joyce McCollum. A family graveside funeral will be held at Jackson Cemetery in Krum, Texas on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 2pm with Rev. Ed Gatlin officiating. Pallbearers will be great-grandfathers DeRoyce Bolton and Joe Beall. As we had dreamed of Dakon’s many years of participation in the Youth Fair, in lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Denton County Youth Fair Blue Ribbon Club Scholarship Fund in his memory.
