Obituary Graveside services for Glenn Daine Bearden will be held privately. There will be a public viewing on Friday, April 10, 2020 at Brownfield Funeral Home from 10 A.M. to 8 P.M. Daine passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 in Brownfield. He was born on October 28, 1931 in Abernathy to Ruben and Oma (Robason) Bearden. Daine attended schools in Johnson, Plains and Union. He retired after working for 33 years at Cooper Natural Resources. Daine married Evelyn Rose Stephens on September 26, 1953 in Brownfield. He was a member of Brownfield First Baptist Church. Daine was loved by one and all. He is preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Rose Bearden, parents, grandson, Jonathan Leslie Bearden, 6 brothers and 2 sisters. Daine is survived by his daughter, Pamela Whitfield and husband, Mark, of Loop; son, Leslie Daine Bearden and Timothy Lee, of Lexington, KY; grandson, Joshua Mark Whitfield and wife, Malia, of Sultan, WA; two granddaughters, Bethany Denise Whitfield and fiancé, Byron Cypert of Lubbock, Emily Michelle Whitfield of Lubbock; and two great grandchildren, Olin Whitfield of Sultan, WA, Jer’rian Johnson of Lubbock. Events Services are private.
