Cynthia’s Obituary Carter (Vega), Cynthia Ann of Swartz Creek, age 73, died Thursday, April 16, 2020, at McLaren-Flint. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service and celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Cynthia’s favorite color was green the color of life and of the Earth. She loved reading biographies, musicals, classic movies such as West Side Story, and it’s a Wonderful Life, music filled her soul and she loved to dance. She could shop for hours without buying anything, she enjoyed talking most of all… to pretty much anyone and everyone always taking the time to listen and had a true heart for people, she was a good cook and a great cleaner and always kept it homey. She loved sending special birthday and holiday cards always dated and with a little note of love inside. She was a spicy little firecracker who always spoke her mind but lived with her heart. She was a simple sweet woman who gave everything she had and what she could to those she loved the most. Cynthia’s greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. We loved her more than words can say. Peace and love. Cynthia is survived by her three loving children, Michelle and husband Mark Hildebrandt, William and wife Tina Carter Michael and wife Holly Carter; grandchildren, Nathaniel and wife Melanie Tomalia, Kira and husband Christopher McCain, Savanna and husband Matthew Smith, Seth William Carter, Jake, Maggie Abby, Madison, Alexander and Aiden Carter, Brittany and husband Justin Warda; great-grandchildren, Olivia and Piper Tomalia, Victoria Rose McCain, Atticus, Ellie and Emerson Carter, Violet and Alex Hodges; brother and sisters, Cathy Sanchez, Irene Lopez and Johnny Vega. Remembered by her many nieces and nephews; loving friends, Judy and husband Jarrett Meadows, Nanette and husband Dale Gray. Cynthia sadly and lovingly was preceded in death by her grandchildren, Silas Emery Carter, son of William and wife Tina Carter and Libby Carter, daughter of Michael Carter; parents, Viola Ornstein (LaSanta) and Frederick Vega. She loved Jesus, may she forever rejoice with God in his heavenly kingdom. “We beseech thee, O Lord, in thy mercy, to have pity on the soul of thy handmaid; do thou, who hast freed her from the perils of this mortal life, restore to her the portion of everlasting salvation. Through Christ our Lord, Amen.” Read More
