He was well known in the community and loved by many. He has been the owner of River Park Transmission, River Park Grocery and River Park Pool Jewel for the last 40 years. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elfrieda Papenhagen; father, Francis Rewerts, brother, Darrell Rewerts and sister, Colleen Meyer. Curtis is survived by his twin daughters, Tracy (Mack) Shaffer and Tonya Higgins; grandchildren, Hannah Brown, Haley Higgins, Tanner Higgins, Shayne Higgins, and Trevor Higgins; great grandchildren, Harper Lewis, Oaklynn Wright, and Lakelynn Wright; other relatives and friends. A celebration of Curtis’ life will be held at a later date.
