GREENFIELD – Curtis “Randy” Tackett, age 56, of Greenfield, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2020. He was born in Indianapolis on November 29, 1963 to Joe and Betty (Sawyers) Tackett. Curtis married Nancy Droppleman on June 3, 2017 in Greenfield. He worked in construction and painting for many years. Curtis was a NASCAR fan. Curtis is survived by his wife, Nancy Droppleman; children, Miranda (Jeremy) Alfred, Curtis Tackett, Allison Tackett, Megan (Joe) Cunningham, Jennifer Droppleman, and Brad (Lindsey) Burgin; eight grandchildren; and siblings, Tuie (Jeff) Viars, Robby Dale Tackett, Loy “Sissy” Sisk, Tammy (Bob) England, Marvin Deckard, and Nettie Hinton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Betty Tackett; and brothers, Tommy Tackett, Timmy Tackett, and Edward Sisk. Per Curtis’ wishes, there will be no services held at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by mail to the National Kidney Foundation, Inc., 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016. Friends may share a memory or condolence at www.erleweinmortuary.com. Arrangements are being handled by Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory in Greenfield.
