Born February 9, 1998 in Lynchburg, he was a son of Troy Edward Layne and fiancée, Misty Arnold of Hurt and Kelly Walden of Gretna. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his paternal grandparents who raised him, James “Eddie” and Deborah Layne of Hurt; his maternal grandparents, Michael and Kathy Shriver of Gretna; one sister, Kayla Layne of Gretna; uncles, James C. Layne and wife, Rebecca of Hurt, and Christopher Layne and wife, Sarah of Hurt; and six cousins. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
