Obituary Cheryl Jean Powell, 74, of Frostburg, passed away Friday, April 10, 2020 at her residence. Born December 12, 1946 in Luke, Md to the late Hubert and Esther (Love) Fresh. Cheryl was retired from the Kensington as a Nursing Assistant. She was a 1966 graduate from Beall High School. Surviving is her husband of 14 years, Huey “Buck” Powell, Jr.; two daughters, Mindy Mooney and husband Mark, Cresaptown and Erica Knepper, Virginia; three grandchildren, Connor and Corrigan Mooney and Arianna Knepper; brother, Bill Fresh, Myrtle Beach, sister, Kathy Bone, Bowling Green; stepsons, Rick Powell and Ken Powell; stepdaughters, Roxanne Powell, Danette Massingil and Marme Potts and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 from 2 to 4 pm with restricted viewings mandated by the state.
