Salsbury, Charles V. “Tucker”, age 77 of Hawthorne, on Monday April 20, 2020. Born in Bridgeport CT, Charles had resided in Hawthorne all of his life. Tucker had worked as a carpet installer for Kaprillian as well as Greig & Greig Carpets before starting his own carpet installation business. Tucker was a proud U.S. Marine Corporal who was stationed in Cuba from 1960 to 1964. He was a member of the Riverside Vets in Hawthorne, and was involved with the Hawthorne Cubs Football organization. Charles “Tucker” Salsbury was the beloved husband of the late Joyce (nee Broadhead) Salsbury (2000). Loving father of Holly Knepper and her husband Jim of Hawthorne, and Chas Salsbury, also of Hawthorne. Dear grandfather of James, Sara, and Chase Knepper. All funeral services and cremation will be private.
