Cathy’s Obituary Mrs. Cathy Faye Lee age 63 of Deaver Rd. Blairsville passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Friday April 17, 2020 following an extended illness. Mrs. Lee was born on February 18, 1957 in Detroit, MI., the daughter of Fayette Jones Moore and the late Ellis Eugene Moore. Cathy was a lifelong resident of Union County. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She adored all of her grandchildren. She was a devout Christian who loved her Lord. She was preceded in death by her son, Craig Lee, her father, Gene Moore and a sister, Carolyn Moore. Cathy was a member of Bunkerhill Baptist Church. Surviving Cathy are her loving husband and best friend of forty three years, William Lee of Blairsville, one daughter and her fiancé, Tiffany Lee and Jeremy Davis of Blairsville, one son and his fiancée, Ryan Lee and Danielle Rosenthal of Blairsville, one sister and brother in law, Lisa and Bobby Rich of Blairsville, five grandchildren, Christine Fields, Cheyenne Lee, Braden Rich, Lillian Rich and Bridgette Davis, several nieces, nephews and in laws also survive. Graveside services will be held on Monday April 20, 2020 at 2:00 pm from the Union Memory Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Ken Nicholson officiating. The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers, Dustin Lee, Wendall Lee, Tony Lee, Homer Hunter, Trent Hunter and Stevie Abercrombie. Flowers are accepted or if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the Northside Cancer Center in Blairsville in Cathy’s memory. The family will have a visitation on Monday from 11-1:30 for immediate and extended family. Interment will follow in the Union Memory Gardens Cemetery where she will rest next to her son Craig.
