Calvin Coolidge Collie, 94, of Boca Raton, FL, departed this life on Thursday, April 23, 2020. Mr. Collie was born in Pittsylvania County, VA on October 29, 1925 a son of the late Howard White Collie, Sr., and Nancy Olivia Still Collie. Mr. Collie was a graduate of Whitmell Farm Life School, class of 1944. He served in the US Navy during WWII and Korea. He retired from Ford Motor Company where he was an Inspector. On May 26, 1956 he married, Jewell May Millner Collie, who survives. Survivors include a son, Tim Collie. He was the last survivor of his generation being predeceased by four brothers, Howard, Jr., James, Martin, Theo, and a sister, Mary Alice Rabeck. A private burial will be held at Highland Burial Park. Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel is serving the Collie family.
