“Butchie” Edward’s Obituary Cumberland, “Butchie” Edward A. Kokoska Jr., 58, passed away on Friday surrounded by his family. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of Edward “Butch” A. Kokoska Sr., and Barbara (Petty) Kokoska both of Cumberland. Butchie was a lifelong resident of Cumberland. He was an avid hockey player and previously played for the Pawtucket League at the Dennis Lynch Arena, Pawtucket for many years. He was also a baseball fan playing as a young man for the Cumberland Little League and the Cumberland Babe Ruth Leagues. He was a loyal fan of the Boston Bruins and Providence Bruins. Butchie also enjoyed his classic cars and hot rods and was a member of the Ty-Rods Auto Club. He was a 1980 Graduate of Cumberland High School. He was employed as an auto body technician and painter for more than 21 years at Cumberland Collision and previous to that he worked at the former Joly’s Auto Body, Cumberland since he was 14 years old. Along with his parents he is survived be his brother Stephen Kokoska of Cumberland a half brother William and sister in law Kathleen and also several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was the father of the late Jesse Belrose and companion of the late Lisa Belrose. A PRAYER SERVICE will be PRIVATE and broadcast live on his online memorial at the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home web site on Wednesday April 8, 2020 at 11 AM. The family will announce a public service Life Celebration to be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the J.
