Bonnie Jeanne Schmidt, 74, of Littlestown, formerly of Glen Burnie, MD, entered into God’s eternal care on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at her home surrounded by family. Born on Monday, April 22, 1946 in Cheverly, MD, she was the daughter of the late William M. Perry, Sr. and Virginia Bladen Perry and the beloved wife of Edwin “Bud” Schmidt, Jr. She was an active member of Missionary Baptist Bible Church for 15 years where she taught Sunday school and was best known for her painted portraits and delicious baked goods. In addition to her husband of 50 years, survivors include four children, Jacqueline Schmidt and her companion, Mark Harryman, Connie Woolsoncroft and her husband, Oscar, Julia Bougourd and her husband, Patrick, and Albert Schmidt and his wife, Tammy; seven grandchildren, Mark Harryman, Jr., Danielle Bougourd, Casey Welsh, Brittany Goldstraw, Cody Woolsoncroft, Albert Schmidt IV, and Avery Schmidt; and two siblings, William M. Perry, Jr. and Linda Santos. In compliance with health and public safety directives during this time, service for Bonnie will be held privately.
