Billie Jean Arnold February 23, 1931 – April 05, 2020 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Billie Jean Arnold (nee Herron), 89, of Lorain passed away Sunday, April 5, 2020 in her home surrounded by her loved ones following a lengthy illness. She was born February 23, 1931 in Roda, Virginia to Ernest and Dorsey (nee Pendelton) Herron. Billie came to Lorain in 1954. Billie was an active member of Tower Baptist Church, Lorain and their Prayer Group. She enjoyed cooking and baking. Billie was proud to be the Matriarch of 5 generations. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 66 years, Luther Ray Arnold of Lorain; daughter, Diana Olsen (nee Herron) of Lorain; sons Larry Ray Arnold of Lorain, Emery (Karen) Arnold of Nova and Lukcus W. Arnold of Lorain; grandchildren Shane, Angela, Joleen, Olivia, Emery, Jr., Christopher, Travis, Madaline, and Amelia; great grandchildren, Gabriella, Coreen, Julius, Xavier, Felicita, Samantha, Laycye, Evan, Paden, Cameron, Emmett, Charlie, Braylen, and Colt; great great grandchildren, Mason, Ava, Noah, Laila, and Ellie. Other than her parents Billie was preceded in death by her son Ira Lee Herron in 2012; brothers, James Edward Herron, Harold Eugene Herron, Julius Marshall Herron and Jimmy Lee Herron, sister Shelby Joyce Vanover, and a great grandson Christain Arnold. Due to necessary health precautions a private funeral was held Thursday, April 9, 2020. She was interred at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst. Print Obituary
