Denton – Betty L. Denton (nee Alters) aged 89 left us on Sunday, April 26, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eva and Ralph Alters; beloved husband, Clifford; dear son, Daniel; four sisters and one brother. Betty is survived by her children, Dennis, John (Elaine), Ray (Cindy), Chris; grandchildren, Dion, Dennis, Alsace, Cecelia, Peter, Elizabeth, Ray, Nick, Phil, Matt, Joseph; and 9 great grandchildren. Betty loved gardening, travel and old-time county music. Many trips were taken to see country music legend, Ray Price with whom she and Cliff shared a 60-year friendship. Always eager to learn, Betty went back to school at 41 to earn her high school diploma. According to her wished, cremation has taken place. A private memorial is planned for a later date. The family would like to thank the staff at American House of Kentwood for their kindness and care of our mother and grandmother.
