Barbara’s Obituary No services are planned at this time for Barbara Lynn (Carlisle) Hayes, 68, of Ada. Mrs. Hayes passed away Sunday, April 19, 2020 at a local nursing home. She was born October 1, 1951 at Holdenville to Kenneth and Estelle Applegate Carlisle. She attended grade school at Bowlegs and Byng High School. She married David Hayes in Gordonville, TX. He preceded her in death in 2007. Mrs. Hayes was a homemaker, enjoyed word puzzles, painting and playing pool. Survivors include her mother, Estelle Carlisle of Ada; two sons, Shaun Lamb of Ada and Brian Keith Lamb of Brookfield, MO; two sisters, Patty Brown and husband Walter “Boggie” of Ada and Linda Marshall and husband Wayne of Weatherford, TX; her grandchildren, Maegan Cowans and husband David, Ada, McKenzie Lamb, Byng, Ethan Lamb, Ft. Hood, TX, Brandon Lamb, Ada and Luke Hall, Jefferson, TX; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father; and grandmother, Evilor Caudill “Granny Applegate”. Read More
