Barbara M. Bailey, 65, of Columbus, passed from this life at 4:15 p.m. Sunday, April 5, 2020 at her home. Mrs. Bailey was born September 7, 1954, in Columbus, the daughter of Jack C. and Rhea G. Coryell Quillen. Barbara married Edward L. Bailey July 26, 1975. She was a member of Jonesville Christian Church and formerly employed at Menards. Survivors include her husband of nearly 45 years; mother, Rhea Quillen of Seymour; children, Edina Bailey and Benjamin Bailey both of Columbus; grandchildren, Xander Lucas and Irelynn Leszcynski; and a brother, Roger Quillen of Columbus. She was preceded in death by her father. A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Bethel Baptist Cemetery with Stan Thomas officiating. Private visitation will be held at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be held at Jonesville Christian Church a later date at the convenience of the family.
