Albert’s Obituary Albert Lynn Shaw was born August 12, 1945 in Crofton, KY. to the late John Henry Shaw and the late Charlie Payne Robinson. He was formerly employed with the Georgia Regional Mental Institute as a Social Worker. His special interest was basketball where he was an all around basketball player with his favorite number #44. His hobbies included: Basketball, Casino, Playing Cards Socially, Watching sports on Television, and Socializing with Friends. He was also the President of the Atlanta Chapter Robinson and Gray Family Reunion, and President of the Attucks Wolf Pack Reunion of which he was the founder. He was a member of Princeton Street Baptist Church. Albert Lynn Shaw passed away on April 9, 2020 at Select Specialty Hospital Atlanta, GA. Survivors: Children: Michael Anthony (Susan) O’Riley, Ahmad Yussef Shaw, Damian (Joy) Shaw Siblings: 2 Brothers: Phillip Payne, Melvin (Mattie) Sharber 2 Sisters: Evelyn (Jacob) Johnson, Felicia Cullens He was preceded in death by 1 Sister: Alma Lois Smith, 1 Sister-In-Law: Dorothy Ann Payne He leaves to mourn 7 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren. A host of Family and Friends In celebration of his life he leaves to love him is his dear companion, Wanda Smith of 20 years. A private funeral for the immediate family only, due to social distancing will be held at Gamble Funeral Home. A private burial at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY. Read More
