Willadene’s Obituary Willadene “Billie” Tavallali, 89 of Elkhart died Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Eastlake Nursing and Rehabilitation, where she resided the past 13 years. She was born January 27, 1931 in Goshen to Everett and Dorothy (Holcomb) Cripe. She is survived by her son, Mark (Betsy) Tavallali of Elkhart, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Artner and Imogene Cripe, and two brothers, Phillip H. Cripe and Todd E. Cripe. A member of West Goshen Church of the Brethren, Billie worked as a secretary at Goshen Case Company. Billie was very creative. She enjoyed drawing, painting, listening to opera, especially Mario Lanza and was a fan of the actor, Errol Flynn. A private graveside service will take place at West Goshen Cemetery.
