Obituary Mrs. Wanda Stangel Tallent, 72, of Smithville, GA, passed away on March 1, 2020 at her son’s residence. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 1:30 PM at Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. Andrew Stucker and Rev. Hugh Harbort officiating. Mrs. Tallent was born August 21, 1947 in Sidney, Ohio to the late Floyd and Agnes Stangel. She loved being outdoors gardening and fishing. Mrs. Tallent was a devoted member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She loved the mission field, participating and supporting even after she could not physically travel any longer. Survivors include her loving husband of 49 years, Earl Tallent of Smithville, GA; sons, Ben Tallent (Amy) of Americus, GA, Matthew Tallent of Smithville, GA; daughter, Shelly Harbuck (Bill) of Smithville, GA; sisters Karen Tubbs of Americus, GA and Vanessa Wellons (Wes) of Americus, GA. Also surviving are grandchildren Gracie Tallent, Andrew Harbuck and Micah Harbuck and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Alaskan Tundra Missions, P. O.
