Suzan’s Obituary Suzan Higgins, 73, of Nappanee, went home to be with our Lord and Savior, March 21, 2020. She was born February 28, 1947 in Osceola. She retired from FAI in Mishawaka after working there for several years. Sue was a member of Union Center Church of the Brethren in Nappanee where she served as a bible study teacher for several years. She loved reading, watching her Bears play football, and especially spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her survivors include son, Kenton (Samantha) Thornton, Nappanee; daughters, Kathy Spiteri, South Bend, Kristy (Rolland) Miller, Lapaz; and 8 grandchildren, Santina Lengacher, Faith Spiteri, Tyler Thornton, Corporal Alexander Steinke, Adam Steinke, Matthew Thornton, Kylie Thornton, and Abigail Suzan Thornton. A small service for immediate family will be held at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Condolences can be made in care of Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home.
