Obituary Our loving mother, Savannah Elmore Williams, 83, of Stanford, KY passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2020 at home. Born May 21, 1936 in North Wilkesboro, NC to the late Jason Staley “Jack” Elmore and Mary Lily “Minnie” Estelle Wiles Elmore, she was a former employee of Lowe’s Inc. where she worked in accounts payable. She was a devoted member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in North Wilkesboro, NC and attended Stanford Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her four girls (as she affectionately referred to them: Lorelei Tharpe (Forrest) of Willis, TX, Sherrie Osbourne (Henry Hilgartner) of Burlington, NC, Corinna Martin (Santford) of Spartanburg, SC, and Jacqueline Camenisch (Jay) of Stanford, KY; She was “Nana” to eleven adoring grandchildren, Michael Osborne, Matt Osborne, Katy Dos (Chris), Emily Osborne, Grace Ann Martin, Noah Martin (Abby), Luke Martin, Caleb Tharpe, Natasha Little (Marcus), Brittany Camenisch and Colt Higgins. Two precious great-grandchildren, Landyn Doss and Caroline Little, will continue her loving legacy. Her cherished “Sis”, Linda McNeil of Winston-Salem, NC also survives her as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and “little Mary” Elmore; as well as a sister and brother-in-law, Mary and J.W. Hayes Arrangements are pending at Spurlin Funeral Home, Stanford. Due to the corona virus, her “homecoming” will be joyfully celebrated in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina at a date and time to be determined.
