Ruth Elizabeth Herrin 1946 – 2020 Beloved mother and grandmother, Ruth Elizabeth Herrin, passed away March 29, 2020 after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Ogden, Utah to Richard and Grace Herrin. She worked at many different jobs throughout her life but her favorite job was working at the Mount Timpanogos Temple. She enjoyed hand work: cross-stitching and crocheting. She also made many dresses for her daughters. She made divinity eggs covered in chocolate and wedding and birthday cakes. She spent many hours scrapbooking pictures and events of her two girls and nine grandchildren. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many capacities. When she was very young she enjoyed being the Jr. Sunday School Coordinator working with the little children. She is survived by hertwo daughters, Sharie and Jenny; sister Sherry Barlow and ister-in-law Marian Herrin. She also has nine grandchildren. There will be graveside services at Elysian Gardens at noon. The celebration planned for Ruth will be held later.
